Burndown은 개인정보를 수집하지 않으며, 어떤 데이터도 개발자 서버로 보내지 않습니다. 개발자는 Burndown 이용자에 관한 정보를 받거나 볼 수 있는 서버를 운영하지 않습니다.
1. 앱이 다루는 정보와 저장 위치
- Claude 로그인 인증 정보(토큰): 사용량을 조회하는 데에만 쓰며, 이용자의 Mac 키체인에만 저장합니다. Claude Code가 설치되어 있으면 이용자가 허용한 경우에 한해 Claude Code가 키체인에 저장한 인증 정보를 읽습니다.
- Claude 사용량(한도별 사용률·리셋 시각): Anthropic 서버에서 받아 화면에 표시하고, 번다운 차트와 주간 리포트에 필요한 사용률·시각 기록만 이 Mac에 저장합니다.
- Claude Code 기록 폴더(.claude): 이용자가 폴더를 직접 선택한 경우에만, 프로젝트별 토큰 사용량과 세션 수·추가하거나 지운 줄 수를 이 Mac 안에서 세어 보여 줍니다. 대화 내용은 어디에도 전송하거나 저장하지 않습니다.
- 설정(메뉴바에 표시할 한도, 알림 기준 등): 이 Mac에만 저장합니다.
2. 세션 모니터링(선택 기능)
세션 모니터링은 기본으로 꺼져 있으며, 이용자가 켠 경우에만 동작합니다.
- 켜면 이용자가 선택한 폴더의
~/.claude/settings.json에 Claude Code 훅 7개를 추가합니다. 바꾸기 전 원래 파일을 같은 폴더에settings.json.burndown-backup으로 남기고, 다른 설정은 바꾸지 않습니다. - 훅은 Claude Code가 넘겨주는 이벤트(JSON)를 이 Mac 안의 주소
127.0.0.1:54546으로만 보냅니다. 이 주소는 인터넷으로 나가지 않으며, 앱이 만들어 이 Mac에만 저장한 토큰이 없는 요청은 거부합니다. - 앱은 이벤트를 세션 상태(작업 중·허용 필요·질문 대기·끝남 등)를 판단하는 데에만 쓰고, 그 상태는 메모리에만 둡니다. 대화 내용과 실행한 명령은 저장하거나 이 Mac 밖으로 보내지 않습니다.
- 세션이 끝나면 마지막 답변의 첫 줄을 이 Mac의 알림으로만 보여 줍니다.
- 설정 > 세션에서 [제거]를 누르면 Burndown이 추가한 훅만 지웁니다.
3. 외부 전송
Burndown이 인터넷으로 통신하는 곳은 Anthropic의 서버(api.anthropic.com, console.anthropic.com)뿐이며, 이용자 본인의 사용량 조회와 로그인 유지에만 사용합니다. 이 통신에는 Anthropic의 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다. 광고, 분석, 추적 도구(SDK)를 포함하지 않으며 제3자에게 정보를 제공하지 않습니다.
4. 보관과 삭제
모든 데이터는 이용자의 Mac에만 있습니다. 앱 설정의 「연결 해제」를 누르면 Burndown이 저장한 인증 정보가 삭제됩니다.
나머지 앱 데이터는 ~/Library/Containers/com.jyp.monglebar 폴더에 있으며, 이 폴더를 지우면 모두 삭제됩니다.
세션 모니터링을 켰다면 앱을 지우기 전에 설정 > 세션에서 [제거]를 눌러 주세요.
5. 아동
Burndown은 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 정보를 수집하지 않습니다.
6. 비공식 앱 고지
Burndown은 Anthropic과 제휴하거나 Anthropic이 보증하지 않은 비공식(unofficial) 앱입니다. Claude는 Anthropic의 상표입니다.
7. 변경과 문의

Burndown does not collect personal data and does not send any data to the developer. The developer operates no server that receives or can see information about Burndown users.
1. Information the app handles and where it stays
- Claude sign-in credentials (tokens) are used only to fetch your usage and are stored only in your Mac's Keychain. If Claude Code is installed, Burndown reads the credentials Claude Code saved in the Keychain only after you allow it.
- Claude usage (per-limit percentages and reset times) is fetched from Anthropic's servers and shown on screen. Only the percentages and times needed for the burndown chart and weekly report are saved on your Mac.
- Claude Code history folder (.claude): only if you select the folder yourself, Burndown counts token usage per project, sessions, and lines added or removed, on your Mac. Conversation content is never sent or stored anywhere.
- Settings (the limit shown in the menu bar, notification threshold, etc.) are stored only on your Mac.
2. Session monitoring (optional)
Session monitoring is off by default and works only if you turn it on.
- Turning it on adds 7 Claude Code hooks to
~/.claude/settings.jsonin the folder you select. Before changing it, Burndown saves the original file in the same folder assettings.json.burndown-backup, and it leaves your other settings unchanged. - The hooks send the event JSON that Claude Code provides only to
127.0.0.1:54546, an address on your own Mac. It never leaves your Mac, and requests without the token the app created and stores only on your Mac are rejected. - The app uses events only to work out session states (working, needs approval, waiting for an answer, done, and so on) and keeps those states in memory only. Conversations and commands are never stored or sent off your Mac.
- When a session finishes, the first line of the last reply is shown only as a notification on your Mac.
- Clicking Remove in Settings > Sessions deletes only the hooks Burndown added.
3. Network connections
Burndown connects to the internet only to reach Anthropic's servers (api.anthropic.com, console.anthropic.com), solely to fetch your own usage and keep you signed in. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to that communication. The app contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs and shares nothing with third parties.
4. Retention and deletion
All data stays on your Mac. "Disconnect" in Settings deletes the credentials Burndown saved. The rest of the app data lives in ~/Library/Containers/com.jyp.monglebar; deleting that folder removes it all.
If you turned on session monitoring, click Remove in Settings > Sessions before deleting the app.
5. Children
Burndown is not directed at children and does not collect children's information.
6. Unofficial app
Burndown is an unofficial app, not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic.
7. Changes and contact
